That’s a wrap from Denver, Colorado! For the fifth straight year, we partnered with EGR International & BLACKLAB Media to produce a General Session attended by nearly 3,000 optometry professionals at their annual Exchange. The General Session was set in Mile High Ballroom at Colorado Convention Center. We had two full load-in days prior to an entire rehearsal day before we kicked off the live show. [Read more...]

We partnered with the Philadelphia Phillies to build the lighting rig for their Media Day set to capture gladiator shots of the players for content to use in the upcoming season. Our crew had a busy start to the new year, with multiple gigs both at home and on the road! First up was the Orange Bowl, which we have worked on in many years past in different capacities. This year, Penn State hired us to build an outdoor PA system at their practice venue. The show may have occurred a bit later than originally scheduled due to Hurricane Milton, but Media Stage once again partnered with Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce on the annual Sand In My Shoes awards gala as we have done for more than 20 years. The show was originally scheduled for October 9th but ended up being postponed to October 30th. Even though Miami wasn’t in the direct path of the storm, the Chamber wanted to be considerate of their fellow Floridians in other parts of the state. [Read more...]

The glitz and glam of Palm Beach was on full display at our most recent show, an awards gala for a local apartment association for which we produced a full AV complement in partnership with Paragon Events. The PGA Ballroom at the resort was the perfect backdrop for the occasion, which was fully in theme showcasing tropical décor and pale pinks and vibrant greens throughout the room. [Read more...]

Let’s drop that puck! Media Stage was back on the ice with the Florida Panthers for multiple events leading up to the start of the new season as reigning Stanley Cup Champions. First on the schedule was Media Day a few weeks ago which was held at their brand new practice facility. We built a multi-dimensional LED wall as the video backdrop and brought in a full complement of movers and addition effect lighting to capture gladiator camera shots. [...]

Florida Panthers fever has not subsided at all during the summer; Media Stage has been active with the reigning Stanley Cup Champions for many of the team’s off-season activities. One major highlight was having the Stanley Cup brought into our onsite studio for a private photo shoot for the team to capture content for the upcoming season.

That’s a wrap on Visit Florida Governor’s Conference 2024! For the third consecutive year, Media Stage provided AV support for this show’s general session, trade show and expo area, and multiple breakout rooms. This year, we traveled cross-state to the Tampa Convention Center. The venues over the last couple of years were both hotel ballrooms (in Boca Raton and Orlando, respectively). Being at a convention center this year, we had a different type of space to work within which changed our load-in and set logistics in several ways. [Read more...]

Wheels up once again! Most recently our road adventures took us to Charlotte, NC for a medical conference attended by more than 1,000 people at the Sheraton Uptown. This show had a widespread reach as attendees represented 22 different countries and 40 U.S. states!

Another one in the books from Orlando! Earlier this summer, our crew was back in Central Florida at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek to produce AV for a multi-day corporate show. It was a fun set to design while incorporating the client’s Top Gun theme throughout the conference, which we were able to bring to life within the Waterside Ballroom.
