A timely FIFA theme highlights this year’s “Goals Conference”
That’s a wrap from JW Marriott Marquis Miami on the 2026 “Goals Conference” for Greater Miami Chamber of Conference. The annual meeting was held just days before the World Cup kicks off, and with Miami as a host site, an international soccer theme was a perfect fit for the event!
The standard business casual attire for attendees allowed for the donning of soccer jerseys representing several countries in the tournament, particularly those from Latin America with close ties to South Florida. All the graphics content that made up the run of show took on the look of soccer pitches, goals, team elements, etc.
The show kicked off (pun intended) with several sponsor remarks with corresponding video rolls, followed by an in-depth “State of the Chamber” address. There was also an official new board installation and an engaging panel discussion on education.
Our set consisted of two 9’ x 16’ rear projection screens, with an ample amount of space backstage so we could use standard zoom lenses vs short throw. We up-lit a full line of black drape with GMCC-green for a polished look. During one of the main video presentations, since it was more hype-style, we programmed some chases and ballyhoo for the uplighting as well.
We were fortunate to have access to the venue the day before, so we were able to get everything built during a half day load-in before the show got underway the following afternoon. With everything already set, we were able to use the time in the morning for final tech checks, presenter rehearsals, and a cue-to-cue. We also supplied AV in the foyer outside the ballroom for a cocktail reception.
Many thanks to Jennifer Sanchez and our amazing friends at GMCC for continuing to trust us with this annual show!
