From sea to stadium
From open waters to a sold-out ballpark, our team recently provided AV for two exciting events here in the local South Florida market.
First up was a cruise that set sail from the port of Miami. Our video team built a custom 6’7” x 11’9” LED wall on board the Norwegian Getaway on a weekend sailing to the Bahamas. Bringing LED to life at sea required careful coordination, as we navigated tight schedules and daily programming. We also had to be thorough in our pre-production weeks in advance to provide the necessary documentation and manifests for everything being brought onto the ship.
Our team implemented staggered set and strike times to ensure minimal disruption to guests while maintaining efficiency and accuracy throughout each day’s operations.
Back on land, we supported a high-profile activation for the World Baseball Classic at loanDepot park (home of the Miami Marlins), where we created a premium VIP photo opportunity inside the exclusive PNC Club. The installation featured a custom scenic backdrop, red carpeting, and studio front-lighting using Dracast panels on stands.
This was in use during the final games of the tournament and showcased the championship trophy on full display! The set was highly visible both in person and through online content from the globally-viewed event that saw Venezuela take home its first ever WBC title. Both of these shows were great opportunities to show our versatility working in different types of venues. Whether it’s international waters or international baseball (and everything in between), Media Stage is up to the task!
