Falling Head Over Nails
Fall is right around the corner, and CND just released the perfect line of products for all the cozy and warm feels of the season. We recently hosted their virtual Trendcast show to introduce this line for the first time from our onsite studio and command center.
Their talent came in from various parts of the country to host the show from our set. North America Director of Education Barb Fogleman drove down from Central Florida, Global Education Director Rox Valinoti flew in from New Jersey, Tan “The Man” Nguyen traveled through time zones from Texas, and nail professional Rebecca Mayes joined us from across town as a South Florida local.
The show had the usual high energy, glitz and glam and interactive engagement the massive virtual audience has come to expect with these types of shows. There were trivia questions at every transitional portion of the show; the first person to submit a correct answer in the live chat would receive a special prize.
We added translation services to the platform, so that global viewers could choose between 17 different languages for to-the-second closed captioning. We had over 5,000 nail enthusiasts tune in live for Trendcast!
There were also purchasing incentives for the new line. We implemented a ‘Buy Now’ button as a pop-up on the video feed throughout the event so any nail professional watching could make use of an exclusive promo code to receive a discount on the products.
Our in-person set was dressed with a custom Atomic scenic wall that we up-lit with warm neutral colors to play off the feel of autumn. We positioned upholstered chairs and brass end tables for the conversational aspect of the program among talent.
The rest of the two-hour show was filled out with live demos, highlighting the unmatched talent of CND nail artists using the beautiful new polishes and forming/shaping products. We are always blown away by what they are able to accomplish as they showcase the meticulous art form that they build their careers on!
