Spending our anniversary on island time! The entire Media Stage staff enjoyed some fun in the sun for a weekend retreat to Isla Bella Resort in Marathon, Florida to commemorate 35 years of show business! After the scenic and leisurely drive down, we all met up for a cocktail reception and dinner. The Media Stage team was back in Central Florida, where we’ve already produced several shows this year (with even more on the horizon)! The crew was on site at Hilton Orlando for four days between load-in, a full rehearsal day and two show days. That’s a wrap on our third consecutive IDEA (Information Display and Entertainment Association) Conference, this time from Bean Town! Our crew traveled north to produce AV for the General Session and six breakouts for this annual event, which attracted more than 900 game presentation professionals across NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS and collegiate/alternative sports. That’s a wrap with Green Sports Alliance! Our team produced AV for one of their recent meetings at the Intercontinental Miami in the Grand Ballroom for 800 attendees. Their organization's mission is to encourage the sports industry and its partners to measure, mitigate and advance sustainability and social impacts. The Florida Panthers’ reign continues as they win their second consecutive Stanley Cup! They lifted Lord Stanley on home ice after a dominating Game 6 win in the Final, and Media Stage was fortunate to be a part of the trophy presentation once again. Our team built and programmed the LED video walls on the ice and did the lighting design in the tunnel from which the Cup was brought out. This made for some incredible camera shots on the national TNT broadcast.

That’s a wrap from JW Marriott Marquis Miami! In collaboration with the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, we produced AV for their annual “Goals Conference” as we’ve been doing for more than two decades. That’s a wrap from Denver, Colorado! For the fifth straight year, we partnered with EGR International & BLACKLAB Media to produce a General Session attended by nearly 3,000 optometry professionals at their annual Exchange. The General Session was set in Mile High Ballroom at Colorado Convention Center. We had two full load-in days prior to an entire rehearsal day before we kicked off the live show. [Read more...]

This year we were at the Royal Ponciana Golf Club for a very busy two days between a full load-in/set day and our live show day followed immediately by strike that went into the early morning. We partnered with the Philadelphia Phillies to build the lighting rig for their Media Day set to capture gladiator shots of the players for content to use in the upcoming season. Our crew had a busy start to the new year, with multiple gigs both at home and on the road! First up was the Orange Bowl, which we have worked on in many years past in different capacities. This year, Penn State hired us to build an outdoor PA system at their practice venue. The show may have occurred a bit later than originally scheduled due to Hurricane Milton, but Media Stage once again partnered with Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce on the annual Sand In My Shoes awards gala as we have done for more than 20 years. The show was originally scheduled for October 9th but ended up being postponed to October 30th. Even though Miami wasn’t in the direct path of the storm, the Chamber wanted to be considerate of their fellow Floridians in other parts of the state. [Read more...]

The glitz and glam of Palm Beach was on full display at our most recent show, an awards gala for a local apartment association for which we produced a full AV complement in partnership with Paragon Events. The PGA Ballroom at the resort was the perfect backdrop for the occasion, which was fully in theme showcasing tropical décor and pale pinks and vibrant greens throughout the room. [Read more...]
