Shows on both coasts

Make a Wish event, people playing music on stage

Following our big road swing earlier this month, the Media Stage crew spanned both coasts of South Florida to produce two different fundraising shows. The first of which was for our longest-running client, Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and the second was for another long-time client Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.

GMJF’s “The Main Event” was held at the beautiful Loews Miami Beach. We positioned grey drape with blue up-lighting to create ambience around the entire perimeter of the room (not just around the stage). Our video team built an eye-catching center LED wall complemented by two supplementary rear projection screens as well on each side of the stage.

The show was highlighted by live performances from young musicians in Dade county, horah dancers throughout the audience and presentations/videos from GMJF leadership. This annual show is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and we were thankful to play a part in their efforts once again!

On the other coast, our team provided AV for another great cause and fundraiser: the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida’s annual gala. This year’s “Wishmaker’s Party” raised the most money in the event’s history, receiving a total of more than $600,000 from generous donors and event-goers. The proceeds from the event will grant life-changing wishes for critically-ill children in Southwest Florida.

At Royal Ponciana Golf Club in Naples, our crew handled all video components of the show as well as setting up and operating full-scale lighting and audio packages. We also provided cameras for IMAG shots and program records.

The run of show was rounded out by a live performance by the Danny Beck Band along with a full night of dinner, drinks, entertainment, auctions and inspiring wish stories. Thank you to our trusted friends at Make-A-Wish Southern Florida for the opportunity to be involved in such a wonderful cause. If you wish to donate, click here.
