The talent from this spring’s CND TRENDCAST would blow anyone away, whether you’re a veteran nail pro or perhaps someone who couldn’t even explain the difference between CND PLEXIGEL and CND SHELLAC (our crew certainly can)! We showcased some of the most distinguished CND nail pros from all across the globe for this virtual event, which we have produced several times now for our wonderful partners at CND.
Live from our onsite studio, we featured Barbara Fogleman, CND North America Director of Education, alongside Tan “the Man” Nguyen and the always vibrant Rebecca Mayes. They flawlessly hosted the segments that transitioned in and out of the many product features and live demos.
For the hosting platform through which we live-streamed the event, we implemented translation services that included all the different languages of our nearly 1,000 viewers all over the world. The chat feature was relied on heavily not only for communication, but also for some fun giveaways for trivia winners!
We also put a “Buy Now” pop-up button in place, so the virtual attendees could take advantage of special CND TRENDCAST promotions for CND’s latest line of products. Along with our Webstreaming Operator who was running this aspect of the show, our onsite command center was fully crewed with a TD to call the show, an A-1 to control audio levels and a Playback Operator to mix in some pre-produced product videos.
As we mentioned, we’ve done this seasonal show before and we’re definitely coming to realize even further the benefits of these types of virtual productions. Specifically with CND being a global brand, the ability to reach such a vast audience and still maintain an intimate feeling of community is key.
