A well-“polished” virtual event!

Editing screens

What do you get when you mix beautiful Spring pastels, a team of some of the most talented nail techs in the world and a virtual audience of 2,500? CND Trendcast! This past Monday our Media Stage production crew executed this event from our onsite studio and command center.

The event attracted an impressive audience of nail enthusiasts from all over the globe – no exaggeration there – as we had attendees from 20 different countries. Viewership came in from the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, Greece, Ireland and many more.

The show’s theme was “Celebration of You” and played on the positive mindset of the new energy and growth that comes with Spring, as is reflected in CND’s new product line. There was an abundance of 70s inspired nail looks, eye-catching abstract patterns and, of course, it wouldn’t be Spring without some florals!

Because the event introduced a new product line, we had a “Buy Now” button activated during transition points of the show that popped up on the host site. The show flow featured Barb Fogleman, Revlon North America Director of Education, as the host who flawlessly navigated the segues from our live studio. Her set was comprised of standard pipe and drape with up-lighting, a table displaying the new polishes and a custom backdrop showcasing some incredible nail looks that can achieved using the products.

We also took in the feeds from six live demos by select CND nail professionals. Per usual, we did quick tech checks and rehearsals with all the presenters in advance. This was definitely necessary as they all used multiple cameras to get both their individual shot and a shot looking down at the nails they were working on.

The aesthetic on the viewing site was one of glitz and glam to stay consistent with CND’s branding. The show would not have been complete without an enthusiastic open and close from CND’s Co-Founder and Style Director Jan Arnold.
