One venue, two shows!

That’s a wrap from Loews Miami Beach Hotel! This was our second time just this year alone working in that venue as we produced full-scale AV for a high-profile corporate client. This global conference was split between two different shows in eight days; one was for internal attendees and the other for external customers.
Because the shows happened in two different ballrooms, we had to account for two full days in between to load out the first and load in for the next. Both shows featured LED walls as the main display source, using our full inventory of 2.6mm pixel pitch tiles. The largest screen was built at a curve and spanned 120’ feet wall-to-wall across the room. The client created their widescreen content with a lot of bold movements and themes to really pop for the audience.
We sub-switched between four different cameras for IMAG and records for the main room and even manned an overflow room as well. The General Sessions featured panel discussions with up to six different speakers and once we were done with show each day, we rolled right into a full schedule of rehearsals for the following day.
The crew utilized Shoflo to follow along in the run of show and track real-times changes. We set a green room area for presenters with a program feed run to two 86” monitors. In addition to these areas, there were more than 20 additional rooms for which we provided AV including breakouts, workshops, office areas, etc. This called for extensive pre-planning and onsite organization as our coordinator handled many on-the-fly gear and crew movements throughout the venue.
