Media Stage celebrates 35 years in the Florida Keys

Spending our anniversary on island time! The entire Media Stage staff enjoyed some fun in the sun for a weekend retreat to Isla Bella Resort in Marathon, Florida to commemorate 35 years of show business!

After the scenic and leisurely drive down, we all met up for a cocktail reception and dinner. It was an awesome night with our families and friends present, during which Wilson Alers officially announced his much-deserved retirement!

Ownership of the company has now been transferred to Michael Alers, who took an opportunity to address this transition with a lot of excitement for what’s ahead.

Oscar Colom will be staying on to continue his back-of-office wizardry along with COO Larry Blocker and the rest of the team that is staying intact to continue the Media Stage legacy!

The following day, we all enjoyed some quality downtime at the pool, followed by another group dinner at the nearby Sunset Grille. Many of us also made a pit stop on the way back at the Key Lime Pie Factory… a must for any trip down to the Keys!

We are so thankful to everyone who has contributed to our success over the last 35 years: our clients, our crew, our industry peers and all of our friends and family. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
