Going "Green" in Miami to highlight sustainability in sports

That’s a wrap with Green Sports Alliance! Our team produced AV for one of their recent meetings at the Intercontinental Miami in the Grand Ballroom for 800 attendees. Their organization's mission is to encourage the sports industry and its partners to measure, mitigate and advance sustainability and social impacts. It was a meaningful event to further drive this message to so many different leagues and teams across the country.

Our AV set-up was highlighted by two main front projection screens flanking the stage. Everything was ground-supported, so our laser projectors were positioned on truss towers at the back of the ballroom. Our speakers covered the perimeter of the room and we had some additional audio support nearest the stage for presenters, as well.

Lighting themes were mostly green and really popped off of the lighter grey run-off drape with which we dressed the stage area as opposed to the traditional black. Our crew had one day to set and rehearse prior to kicking off the General Session, so it was a bit of a tight turnaround to make sure we were totally polished and show ready by the end of load-in.

The run of show consisted of leadership remarks, a live performance and some engaging panel discussions – one of which even featured former 12-time NBA All Star point guard Chris Paul.

Thanks so much to the team at Green Sports Alliance for the opportunity to partner up on this event!
