Everything is bigger in Texas

…including LED walls! That’s a wrap on an 8-day production at Omni Dallas: one of our biggest shows of the year featuring a 190’ wall-to-wall LED display in the General Session. In addition to the GS, we also provided AV support in 17 other breakouts and meeting areas throughout the hotel. It was a very full week with early call times and long days, but the show was a huge (literally) success!

The GS hosted more than 1,000 attendees for sales presentations, leadership remarks, and awards all showcasing both graphic and video-heavy content. We built custom stage entrances into the LED wall and also allowed for several video pre-sets, including eye-catching PIPs.

Our lighting and audio packages were all flown, featuring a vast complement of movers and stage wash and a full line-array system for PA. On the awards night, we even positioned and operated a follow spot to highlight winners as they took the stage.

It took a fleet of four 53’ semis to truck all of our gear from South Florida to Dallas and two full load-in days before tech checks and rehearsals got underway. We also had a designated strike day on the back end to allow enough time to break down all 1,044 LED tiles it took to build the video wall.

Our crew was comprised of more than 40 people in total, and everyone played a vital role in making this show seamless and professionally executed. Job well done to all involved!
