Owning the stage in Orlando
The Media Stage team was back in Central Florida where we’ve already produced several shows this year (with even more on the horizon)! The crew was on site at Hilton Orlando for four days between load-in, a full rehearsal day and two show days. We were able to get creative with this set design that was highlighted by two laser projection screens and a custom backdrop of Atomic columns and hedge pieces.

To add another focal point to this set, we positioned an 86” HD monitor within the scenic “wall” as a supplementary display source. The run of show consisted of two evening events: first, a welcoming gala and then a more up-beat party the second night with an awards show hosted by an interactive DJ.
We also livestreamed a product launch that was viewed by a virtual audience of more than 700 people. Our video technicians framed this to mimic an infomercial, showing multiple camera shots including those from a PTZ that we positioned to quickly get different vantage points.
The on-site videographer also fed us his signal using a wireless transmitter so we could take his live shots as well. Having so many camera angles worked very nicely for this launch so we could get a lot of reaction from attendees in the room as they opened the product for the first time.
The stream was outward only, set up with an additional computer and a capture card. We tested this ahead of time to ensure flawless execution on show day.
We will be back in Central Florida later this month, and will be posting live behind-the-scenes content on our Instagram throughout the week. Follow us if you’re not already! @mediastageinc
